Oristan is a city in Italy located on Sardinia Island, which is the capital of the province. Oristano marquisate was ceded to the House of Aragon in the late fifteenth century, after the battle of Ferdinand II of Aragon and V of Castilla, named the Catholic, against the rebels of Arborea.
The proximity and multiple cultural similarities between Italy and Spain is what motivated the creation of this family of structured and complex red wines aged in noble oak barrels.
